What is normal and abnormal hair loss?

One of the most frequently asked questions asked is if the amount of hair loss is normal or abnormal. To answer that question we have to examine the clients degree of hair loss and hair count loss during a range of time period.

Throughout lifespan, we lose hair everyday as hair follicles go through their normal cyclic activity. The average normal number of scalp hair loss due to its natural cyclic process is between 80-100 strands. If the hair is healthy and heredity is not a factor, then these hair s will be replaced and the hair loss will not be noticeable.  The first warning signs of extreme hair loss or baldness appear when excessive amounts of hair fall out when one is showering or brushing hair.  A more advanced sign of creeping baldness is a definite recession of hair line or Androgenetic alopecia,  This is a form of genetic thinning which account for the most common cause of hair loss.

In case of genetic hair loss, one is predisposed and can inherit the genes from either or both parents. The predisposed hair follicles begin to shrink with age and will eventually never grow back.Hair loss related to genetics averages 15% between ages of 18-29 and increases to 50% by the age of 50. By the age of 40 the rate of hair loss decreases to 10% for each decade.

Even if the hair are predetermined to eventually lose hair, there are several steps that can be taken to slow down the progress of hair loss. For starters once extreme shedding occurs, one need not wait for evidence of substantial permanent hair loss. It is best to seek the advise of hair loss specialist who will diagnosis  the cause for the hair loss and recommend a medical treatment option to slow down or reverse hair loss at its earliest stage.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist based in Los Angeles and Orange County with more that 25 years of experience has been in forefront of advancements in the field of hair restoration.  He can make an evaluation using devises that help determine the cause of hair loss and predict the future progression. Once the cause of hair loss is established the proper treatment options are recommended to reverse or slow down future hair loss. He gives many pieces of advice to his clients to start hair loss prevention when they notice thinning at the initial stages. If hair loss is genetic, then hair transplant can be an option to restore the hair that is lost and medical treatment is used to prevent future hair loss and keep hair healthy.

What are ARTAS and Neograft FUE hair transplant?

With the popularity of hair transplantation many questions arise as to the so called modern methods and the potential side effects of the procedure. With today's more advance harvesting techniques thousands of hairs can be transferred from one area to the other. The two harvesting techniques that are the most popular are the FUE and the FUT methods. Both of these techniques if done correctly on the right candidate can be very successful. There are different machines that are commonly used with FUE technique. We will review some of them in this blog.

With the FUE technique, round punches in different sizes are used to extract hair from the donor area in the back of the head. This can be done manually or using different types of machines such as ARTAS , and the Neograft machines. This technique is being advertised as the most advanced technique for hair transplantation, however it has to be done on the right candidate with smaller sessions or else potential side effects may happen after the hair transplant.

There are different machines that are used for the extraction of the grafts from the donor area in FUE technique. One of the machines is the ARTAS. The ARTAS is a computer utilized machine that has an embedded technology to guide the device in extracting each grafts. Another machine for extraction is the Neograft. The Neograft machine is not computerized and is a devise that is used by a person to extract the grafts, like a manual machine. The manual machine is a machine that is also used by human to extract the grafts as well. In case of Neograft, usually there are technicians that are provided by the manufacturer and are send to the doctor to perform the extraction of the grafts. As for the ARTAS there is minimal involvement of the doctor and machine removes the grafts by itself. All of these devises have some advantages and disadvantages in regards to the utilization of the grafts and also the size of punches used for the extraction. These should be discussed with the doctor before choosing a method of extraction.

During the consultation, the hair transplant specialist should examine the donor hair and texture carefully to make sure that the client is a good candidate for FUE technique. If the client has curly hair or if they have a more advanced Male Patten Hair Loss, then FUE should not be recommended. Before deciding on a harvesting method, and the machine used for harvesting. it is a good idea to discuss all the pros and cons with your doctor. A hair restoration surgeon with experience should do an evaluation and give recommendation customized to each individual's needs and concerns. In the case of FUE technique, it can be successful and is a good procedure for smaller cases and in individuals with straight hair. . If you need greater than 1000 grafts or you have curly hair then it is to your advantage to consider the strip method.  It is wise to keep in mind that harvesting is just one aspect of the procedure. To get the most aesthetic result the most important part is the design of the recipient area, the execution of the plan and the surgical skills of the hair transplant surgeon.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist with offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, Beverly Hills, Irvine and San Diego offers many advises to his clients for hair restoration surgery using the best hair transplant techniques. PRP and Acell as an option for hair regeneration during initial stages of hair loss

There are many different non surgical options that are available at initial stages of hair loss for both men and women. One of these options include stem cell regeneration using PRP or the Plasma Rich Platelet and Acell injections. In some cases, it can be effective and regrow hair in the areas of balding.

Over the past decade, researchers began to understand the central role played by stem cells in hair follicle cycling. Every hair follicle contains a permanent reservoir of multi potent stem cells that have capacity to participate in growth, development and repair of tissues. The eventual understanding of this process of stem cell replenishment may contribute to molecular level treatments to revive hair follicles that have stopped producing mature hair. These treatments need to be continued until the condition turns it self off, which may take months to years.

One of the popular options  for hair loss that has gained popularity is cell regeneration using PRP and Acell injections.  These injections are usually used mostly among women, and younger clients suffering from hair loss.  PRP and Acell regeneration are considered a nonsurgical hair loss treatment options that are used either in combination with hair transplant, or other hair care medical treatments in some cases.

PRP is a concentration derived from clients' own blood. It has growth factors that stimulate hair growth when injected into the scalp. Once in the scalp, PRP growth factors begin to degrade quickly so any benefit to thinning hair will be short lived and usually minimal. Therefore, this requires continuous treatments of the PRP injections . As a rule at Meshkin Medical hair restoration and hair transplant centers, PRP and Acell injections are recommended to be repeated 2-3 times a year to maintain any benefit.  Dr. Meshkin recommends that for increased benefit PRP be combined with ACell injections at the time of each treatment.

These non surgical hair loss treatment options combined with the latest modern hair transplant surgery such as FUE hair transplant, FUT Trichophytic hair transplant and Ultra Refined hair restoration techniques result in the best comprehensive hair restoration treatment options that both replace the lost hair and slow down the hair loss in the native hair.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist based in Los Angeles and Orange County has been at the forefront of stem cell regeneration, development and it affects on reviving mature hair follicles. what is the best modern hair transplant technique for hair restoration?

You have decided on hair restoration and now are looking for a qualified hair restoration surgeon with the most advanced modern technique for the best result. It is important to know the facts about current advanced surgical options so that you can make the right decision. Surgical instruments and techniques have steadily evolved and improved over the years.  New methods of surgical hair restoration replace lost hair and re shape the hairline with your own natural, growing hair, in a way that is virtually impossible to tell that grafts have been placed.

To find the best alternative for you, the first step is to find a qualified hair restoration surgeon with many years of experience and arrange for a consultation.  During the consultation hair transplant harvesting and implanting techniques are discussed. Currently there are two harvesting techniques that are available the strip method or FUT and the punch method or the FUE.  They involve removing permanent hair bearing skin from the back and or sides of the scalp in the donor area.  Once the hair is removed it is then transferred and implanted in the recipient area.

Today's new advanced Ultra Refined Follicular Unit hair transplant allows thousands of hair follicles to be placed in one or two sessions with lateral Microslit grafting technique.  This can be achieved by using microscope to dissect and remove excess tissue attached to the hair follicles, therefore eliminating the skin gaps or dead space.  This allows for the grafts to be placed in close proximity and enables the surgeon to dense pack the grafts.  Using customized needles for each client, the lateral incisions are made following ones own natural orientation which requires more skill and attention to be performed properly.  The creation of these small incisions allowing for small follicular units to be placed has enabled the hair surgeons to create a utmost cosmetic result with this modern advanced hair transplant technique.

Nowadays only one to two procedures may be needed depending on the degree of balding, patient's donor supply, hair characteristics, and patient's special goals.  Hair transplants is remarkably well tolerated and will continue to grow for most, if not all of one's life.  With these new techniques, a skilled hair transplant specialist can also do beard hair transplant, eyelash hair transplant, eyebrow hair transplant and hair line lowering with most natural result.

How to chose the best qualified hair transplant surgeon?

How to chose the best qualified hair transplant surgeon?

With the popularity of hair transplantation on the rise, so many doctors are adding hair transplant to their practice. As so many non specialized doctors start to offer hair transplant, how can clients choose the most qualified doctor that offer the best hair transplant? To add to the confusion, there are many internet sites that promote doctors for a fee, so how is one to recognize a legitimate organization from a marketing site?

Finding a qualified hair restoration doctor can be very challenging for the patient. However there is two qualifications that set apart an experienced hair restoration surgeon for excellence from others. Those are the designation of Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), and the designated Fellow status by the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS). Dr Meshkin is one of the original 30 hair restoration surgeons to earn diploma certification by ABHRS and be recognized as an active long standing member of ISHRS for his outstanding contributions to the field of hair restoration surgery. In addition Dr Meshkin was recognized as realself 100 doctors for 2015 in excellence for his contribution as hair restoration doctor to the realself community.

Hair restoration surgery is a medical and surgical subspecialty that has matured over the decades since its introduction in the 1960s. By the 1990s, hair restoration surgery as a cosmetic subspecialty had matured to the position of requiring standards for assuring the highest level of knowledge and skill in practitioners of hair restoration surgery. The medical profession has such a mechanism in place-the medical specialty board that certifies qualified specialists in their elected specialty or subspecialty. Leaders of hair restoration surgery adopted the medical-board approach to certification, and organized the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS).

Board certification and diplomatic certification has both public and professional implications. The primary purpose of certification of medical specialists is to assure the public of a physician’s knowledge and skill. Among colleagues, certification in hair surgery by the ABHRS has implications of professional quality and standing. The requirements for certification are rigorous, and they are applied by all medical boards. The hair surgeon must pass written and oral examinations, and then recertify by passing an exam every ten years.

What It Means to be a Fellow member of the ISHRS?

The designation of fellow member was established in order to recognize members who met its exceptional educational criteria.  In order to be considered, the hair restoration surgeon must achieve a specific level of points in a system of various educational parameters such as serving in leadership positions, American Board of Hair Restoration (ABHRS) certification, writing of scientific papers, teaching at scientific programs, among others.

It is a great honor for a member to achieve this designation of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). This recognizes the surgeon who strives for excellence in this specialized field. To maintain this status, the surgeon must continue to meet established educational criteria over time.

Dr Meshkin is honored to be recognized as a designated long standing member of ISHRS by his peers and also be certified diplomat by ABHRS for his knowledge and skill as a specialized hair restoration surgeon.

What are some of possible side effects associated with hair loss medications?

There are currently many hair care products that are used to help improve thinning hair. among these products the most commonly used are Propecia and Minoxidil. These two products are FDA approved and have been scientifically proven to help slow down progression of hair loss in Male Pattern Hair Loss. Both of these medications are more effective in the crown area, but clinical trials show some improvements in the frontal and temple area if both are used together. However, just like any other medical treatments, there are some side effects that are commonly associated with using these products.

When one starts to use these products, the hair loss slows down. If for any reason one stops using the products the hair that was saved with the use of these medications would be lost until the point where the individual would have been without treatment. However, the rate of shedding is different from one individual to another. In some cases it is very fast, whereas in others it may take several months after stopping the medications. In general missing a few days of treatment, while not recommended, is generally safe and not harmful.

There are some side effects that are associated with these medications. these side effects are not harmful when used as directed by the manufacturer and under supervision of a doctor. You should follow all the package instructions and find out the side effects before using them. Propecia could be harmful to a developing male fetus in a pregnant women if the drug entered her body by ingesting the medication. The amounts of the drug in a male's semen have been studied and found to be insignificant. The man can choose to stop treatment during conception efforts, but it is not necessary. Minoxidil may cause palpitation, irritation of the skin, and dizziness. In either case the side effects should be fully reviewed and a consultation should be done with a physician before using the medications.

Finding the right hair loss medication is only one factor of proper hair care. If one suffers from genetic hair loss, hair care products can be used to slow down the progression and scalp but a more comprehensive medical hair loss regiment should be discussed with hair loss specialist.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist based in Los Angeles and Orange County offers many advises to his clients to start hair loss prevention when they notice thinning at the initial stages. If hair loss is genetic, then hair transplant can be an option to restore the hair that is lost and medical treatment is used to prevent future hair loss and keep hair healthy.

Does dandruff cause hair loss?

There are many causes of hair loss; the most common cause of hair loss is Androgenic Alopecia.  However there are conditions other than Androgenic Alopecia that may cause hair loss.  It is always a good idea to get evaluated by a hair loss specialist to find the cause for the hair loss and then get the proper treatment options.

Sometimes hair loss can be associated by certain scalp disorders which cause the scalp to be too dry or too oil.  Scalp conditions that cause scalp to be too oily or too dry include Dandruff, Seborrheic Dermatititis, Seborrhea and Psoriasis which may lead to shedding of the hair.  Dandruff is among the most common human scalp conditions that increases shedding of dead skin cells from the scalp.

Dandruff can cause varying degrees of unpleasant scaling and flaking, which can become bothersome and unattractive.  Symptoms are associated with an oily scalp, poor diet, and stress.  Dandruff is most likely to develop when production of sebum is at its peak in puberty and adolescence, or when the production of androgenic hormones is off balance.

Dandruff can typically be managed well by using a mild anti fungal shampoos containing ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione tar, and selenium, once or twice a week.  In addition, some oral supplements and vitamin E can help. Forms of severe dandruff with excessive oiliness, crusting and itching may be a form of seborrheic dermatitis and should be further investigated by a physician or dermatologist.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist based in Los Angeles and Orange County has been at the forefront of hair loss research on scalp conditions and their affect on  hair follicles. He can made an evaluation using devises that help determine the cause of hair loss and predict the future progression. Review of the best hair restoration solution for hair loss

It is a fact that hair transplants of yesterday appear nothing like todays' modern natural hair transplants.   With improvements in both harvesting hair transplant techniques and also Ultra Refined Follicular Unit hair restoration in the recipient areas, clients can enjoy a very natural and best hair transplant result.

An experienced hair restoration specialist should make an evaluation and make a comprehensive approach for each client based on their needs and concerns. Since hair loss is progressive, the progression of hair loss should be considered into the overall plan and approach.

During the initial consultation, the physician should spend considerable amount of time to educate the patient utilizing computerized hair analysis to evaluate extent of hair loss, hair characteristics, hair density and the cause of hair loss.  Once the cause of hair loss is determined, the doctor can give recommendations based on patient's age, goal and expectation, patient's state of health, the degree of hair loss, donor size, donor density, hair characteristics, whether or not previous surgery have been done and the progression of future hair loss.  The hair transplant specialist should give all the necessary information and educate the patient about both surgical and medical treatment options that may be beneficial to the client.

Since hair loss tends to be both gradual and progressive, it is often wise to combine a surgical and medical treatment regiment routine to get the most optimal result.  Medical treatments such as finasteride and minoxidil are usually recommended to help preserve thinning hair.  Hair transplants can be used to fill in the frontal hairline and thicken the mid scalp and the crown areas while medical treatments can be used to maintain the native hair and possibly enhance the long term results of hair restoration surgery.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist based in Los Angeles and Orange County offers many advises to his clients for hair line and forehead lowering surgery.  If hair loss is genetic, then hair transplant can be an option to restore the hair that is lost and medical treatment is used to prevent future hair loss and keep hair healthy.

To find out more about your hair loss, visit one of Dr. Meshkin's hair transplant and hair restoration clinics in Los Angeles or in Irvine locations. Post Hair Transplant Care and Best Maintenace For Hair Loss

As the popularity of hair restoration surgery rises and more people consider hair transplant as viable treatment option for hair loss, the question arises for the safety of the procedure, the post-op care and maintenance of the transplanted hair.

Hair transplantation is a very safe, relatively minor procedure. It s an outpatient procedure that is performed under local anesthesia while the patient is watching T.V., listening to music or just simply falling asleep. Once the hair is harvested from the donor area, the units are cut under the microscopes into 1-4 follicular units. and place into the recipient area according to their size. extreme complications during and after the hair transplant procedure is very rare, and there is very little discomfort at the grafted area. Most hair restoration specialist apply small dressing for the first night, once the dressing is removed a loose hat can be used to cover the area. A post op care is usually given for cleaning the recipient and the donor area.

Small crusts may form on each grafted area, and these can usually be camouflaged by an existing hair that be combed over the recipient area, or wear a hat or a few days after the procedure camouflage products such as Dermmatch, Couvre or Toppix can be used. These crusts will flake off by 10th day after the surgery. The transplanted hair growing from the scalp may initially be shed, however the roots remain and will be dormant for 10-14 weeks, at which time the new hairs will all begin to grow in gradually.

While complications are rare, some side effects such as minor inflammation can occur around newly transplanted hair follicle and usually responds well to warm compresses. The recipient and donor areas usually heal with no visible scarring and are covered by transplanted hair or surrounding hair. Infection is extremely rare, but some people may get mild swelling after the procedure. Patients can return to normal physical activity after a couple of days and resume daily routine 24 hours after the procedure. For extreme physical activity or exercise, it is a good idea to check with your doctor first.

The hair restoration specialist is usually able to anticipate the progression of hair loss of the native hair in the future and may suggest a medical hair regiment routine to slow down the hair loss or additional hair transplant may be considered in the future to address the continued hair loss.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist with many years of experience has offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, Beverly Hills, Irvine and San Diego. He offers many advises to his clients for hair restoration surgery using the best hair transplant techniques and is constantly looking for ways for the advancement of hair transplant techniques for the benefit of his clients. Tests Available for Diagnosis and Predication of Hair Loss

Currently in USA approximately 50 million men and women are affected by some type of hair loss. One of the most distressing forms of hair loss is Heredatory Androgenic Alopecia, also known as male or female pattern hair loss. The symptoms of this genetically predetermined disorder include physical changes in the hair, including loss of normal vigor and elasticity. Eventually, the hair can become thin and brittle and begin to fall out. These changes are gradual and are progressive. The exact degree of hair loss and its progression is hard to measure, however there are a variety of hair test that can help to evaluate or predict these changes.

Up until recently there was no precise technology to predict future hair loss. We now have genetic testing and devises that will help with predicting genetic predisposition and measuring future hair loss. Predictive genetic hair loss testing known as Hair DX is now available for both men and women. There are many remedies in the market that have been used over the years to slow down or reduce hair loss. One of these remedies is black currant oil which is a natural source of fatty acid called

Latest trends in Best Modern Hair Restoration and Hair Transplant Surgery

Hair transplantation has become very popular procedure for the past few years among both women and men. Hair transplantation is a very safe, relatively minor surgical procedure. New methods of surgical hair restoration can benefit those with hair loss, and reshape the lost hair with their own natural, growing hair. Hair restoration can be done so naturally that often hair stylist or barber are unable to distinguish the grafts from native hair. However before deciding on hair transplant, it is important to find out about the latest developments in hair restoration techniques and best medical products available.

Once you are evaluated by a specialist, It is critical to know the facts about the cause of your hair loss, the current hair replacement surgery options and the technique used for both the recipient and the harvesting areas. New methods of surgical hair restoration can replace the lost hair in the forehead and reshape the hairline with your own natural, growing hair requiring no more care than the ordinary washing, styling, and trimming. The best hair line recreated by hair transplantation is one that is natural and blends with other facial features. However the natural look mostly depends on the artistry and experience of the hair transplant doctor.

At Meshkin Medical hair restoration clinics modern hair transplant techniques such as FUE and FUT hair transplants can be done so well that often a barber or hair stylist can not even tell that hair transplant procedure has been done. Dr. Mike Meshkin a qualified hair transplant surgeon uses latest customized hair transplant needles for dense packing in the frontal hair line and make the customized incisions in the recipient area following one's own direction and orientation of the native hair to get the most natural result. Dr. Meshkin at Meshkin Medical hair transplant surgery centers provides all the necessary information in regards to hair loss and educates his patients about both surgical and medical hair loss treatment options that may be beneficial to his clients.

Since hair loss tends to be both gradual and progressive, it is often wise to combine a surgical and medical treatment regiment routine to get the most optimal result. Medical hair loss treatment products such as finasteride and minoxidil are usually recommended to help preserve thinning hair. Hair transplants can be used to fill in the frontal hairline and thicken the mid scalp and the crown areas while medical hair loss treatments can be used to maintain the native hair and possibly enhance the long term results of hair restoration surgery to give the most natural and best hair restoration result.

Another popular option to hair loss products that has gained popularity specially among women suffering from hair loss is PRP and Acell. PRP or the Plasma Rich Platelet injections is considered a nonsurgical hair loss treatment option that is used either in combination with hair transplant, or Acell injection in some cases.

Dr. Meshkin recommends that for increased benefit PRP be combined with ACell injections.

Hair Transplants of Yesterday VS. Modern Best Hair Transplant

It is a fact that hair transplants of yesterday appear nothing like todays' modern natural hair transplant. With improvements in both harvesting hair transplant techniques and also ultra
refined follicular unit transplanting in the recipient areas, todays' hair transplant clients can
enjoy very natural and best hair transplant results.

With older hair transplants, the hairs were taken using large punches and often transplanted into the recipient area directly. In many cases the unnatural results looked like dulls head and had a clumpy, uneven hair distribution, drawing clear distinction between transplanted hair and the native hair. Fortunately with the improvement of hair restoration techniques, many of these older hair transplants can be corrected and meet modern hair transplant standards.

An experienced hair restoration specialist should make an evaluation and make a comprehensive approach for each client based on their needs and concerns. Since hair loss is progressive, the progression of hair loss should be considered into the overall plan and approach. If a client has a bad hair transplant from previous surgery or older techniques, the hair transplant surgeon should examine the scalp to determine the optimal approach to revising the older hair transplant. In some cases, the optimal approach is to place ultra refined single hair follicles in front of the old plugs, in other cases the hair have to be removed completely and replace with single hair units. In this cases the follicles that are removed can be cut into single hair units and be used for re-transplantation.

Hair line revisions are most common among those who had older hair transplant, specially as they age. With the modern hair transplant techniques, once the hair is harvested from the donor area, it is cut under the microscope into refined hair follicular units. The hair restoration specialist should then make incisions into the recipient areas using customized needles that would allow for lateral incisions and smaller units to be implanted. The hair restoration specialist should take time and follow the orientation, and facial contours and make the incisions close enough for dense packing. These factors will allow for natural and best hair transplantation results.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist with offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, Beverly Hills, Irvine and San Diego offers many advises to his clients for hair restoration surgery using the best hair transplant techniques. Dr. Meshkin is a very hands on hair restoration surgeon and with his many years of experience in hair restoration exclusively, he can offer the best hair transplant techniques as well as revisions on old hair transplants.

The Expected Results After Hair Transplant Surgery

The expected result after hair restorations surgery is different from one person to another, however in general the hair usually sheds and will start to grow in after a few months.  The amount of coverage from hair transplant varies depending on the extent of baldness and the patient's donor density.  After hair transplant a post op care should be provided to a patient and patient should be monitored for the first month after the hair transplant procedure.

After the hair transplant,  the patient should be careful for the first week when cleaning the scalp as the grafts are still not set in and may come out. Once the recipient area is healed then the growing process will begin. It is important to follow the instructions that are given to the patient to make sure that the healing process goes smoothly and also no problems arise.  Usually after month from the procedure, once every thing is healed the patient can return to all normal activity and cleaning routine.

The process of hair growth of the transplanted hair varies from one person to another.  But usually each hair goes through its intrinsic cycle of growth.  Depending on where in the cycle of growth the hair is, then it will gradually start to grow in.  Once the hair is transplanted, the follicles will remain under the scalp, however the hair shaft will usually detach from the hair follicle and shed with the scabs.  Within one month after hair restoration surgery much of the hair is shed.  In about three months, the hair begins to grow and continues to grow at a normal rate.  In most cases it may take up to 18 months for all the transplanted hair to grow in. About six months after hair transplant session, the transplanted hairs begin to take on a normal appearance and will continue to grow for a lifetime.  In rare cases, the hair may take up to two years to grow, but this delay is not common and is not well understand.  The donor site from which the hair was taken shrinks to a small unnoticeable incision site that is usually almost not detectable.  During this process, it is imperative that the hair transplant surgeon is available to answer any questions or concerns that may arise.

Dr. Mike Meshkin, a hair transplant specialist with offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, Beverly Hills, Irvine and San Diego offers many advises to his clients for  hair restoration surgery using the best hair transplant techniques.  Dr. Meshkin is a very hands on hair restoration surgeon and he is available for his clients for before, during and after hair restoration surgery.
